Reading through all these, I like Polldoll's slight adjustment.
Every time I look at the new logo, apart from my initial reaction, I think it looks like an ataxic spider with ears!
Polldoll taking a leg or two away makes it look less so.

My initial reaction was that I thought the roots were a little heavy, compared to the font ... but as an ex-"signie", ... I think it's really quite good.

The only suggestion I would make would be ... all lower-case letters, perhaps, with no capital for the R, ... which is the way it has to be typed on the 'net.  That would, however, necessitate having the roots coming from the bottom of the "r"

 ;)

I thought the roots were a little heavy,

Funny you should mention that Deb - that was my thought as well. I think that the roots could come down from the first downstroke of the R (if that makes sense) ...

But overall I think it looks nice.  :-\

There y'go, Ruskie ... I had a "go" at it 'cos I didn't think I'd explained it too well.  And I don't appear to have the correct font in my computer, - this is the nearest I could find  :-[

See what you mean Deb   :)    clever!

- prefer the capital R myself, but . . . . .     :-\

As long as the site goes on being a nice place to be it doesn't really matter!!    ;)

Yes, I spotted the nice new logo straight away and liked it as well. I agree about the capital C, and the big middle root being a bit heavy. Nearly all the amended logos people have posted I like better than the current version -- but personally I can't see any difference between the two versions posted by Polly, so if there is one it wouldn't be big enough to use!

Cheers!

I find it a bit creepy like underground and the leaves are too stylised to go with it.

I like PollDoll's revision. The roots look less spidery and her case for a lighter "chat" is persuasive.

Thumbs up ! ! !

Nice looking and now very 'modern'  :D

Perhaps, a 'dropped' shadow' would  make it look 3D.

Keep up the good work.  ::)
