Love it !   Clean, modern and easy on the eye ..... but .... I agree with whoever it was that requested the C should be upper case.    RootsChat looks (to me) like what it says on the tin, but Rootschat looks like a German ?? Dutch ?? word ?

Looking forward to the new changes, as long as RC is just as easy to use as it is now.

Smilies ... yes please, but DON'T put the Christmas ones on too early.   We've had Christmas in the shops for a couple of months already .... don't want it in here as well !

what changes ????changing one logo is fine   but the site is fine just the way it is..  dont want the  site to end up looking like looking4kin
the only thing that could be improved is having one page  A - Z of links for databases then folk looking for records could find say Eire or Scotland etc easier
the other thing that could be improved is having an icon on admin page for getting a mod in room QUICK when we have PIAs.
One thing  that could be good  is for rc to market a tshirt ,  polo shirt and sweatshirt with rc logo and something catchly about family history to raise money for the site to keep advertisers off the site as much

other than that folks   its the worlds best site for fh........

The new logo is good, clear and simple, but I really hope the chtterbox room is not going to be changed much if at all.  It isn't often we need it but the idea of a button to summon a mod is a very good one.

Thumbs up on the lighter look ...

I'm with the party who would like to retain the C in capital for Chat ... as in the title of this thread

I also like the fresh-looking logo.

My only concern is the position of the leaves which makes them look like rabbit ears.

I look forward to the changes - hope they are all good.  ;)

First thing I spotted - and it gets a "like" from me as well
It's clean, crisp and looks professional

Would prefer to see a capital "C" as in RootsChat but it's not that important

Would also like to see a "Change text size" for those of us who may be older or just blind as a bat  ;D
