Clean, uncluttered and very easy on the eye !

A job really well done.   Thankyou !  :) :) :)

Is this all down to you, or has Sarah's excellent taste had some influence ?

I know that lots of Rootschatters would like a new chatterbox system

I am a regular in the Chatterbox, and don't know of anyone who would like a new system.

As for the rest of the site as long as the navigation remains as user friendly to use as it is, some updates may be a good thing.  It  is an easy to use site, even for first time visitors.

It throws some people out sometimes for no apparent reason - it's like a comedy revolving door for some users.  ;D

I'm not a user but, the few times I've tried it, that's what inevitably happened.

Don't mind the welcome back being more in the middle but have you shrunk Welcome Forum Help etc:?  I could do with them being a wee bit bigger they get a bit lost when there is a running banner advert underneath - maybe it's an optical whatsit now the top is cleaner and whiter  :-\

Also, I preferred the old upper case C in RootsChat.  Emphasising 'chat' like that was a welcoming touch, and is accurate. You log on here, you get Roots and Chat - what it says on the tin. Rootschat, written all as one word -
Me too but seem to always refer to Rootschat when typing :-\

Very clear and clean - the colour scheme is clearer, without the slight "fog" of background. A very friendly amendment.
I'm someone who finds that "new" does not always equate with "improved". This is one of the finest, simply set-out sites to come to terms with, and far easier to deal with than many others.
Possibly the typefaces used may be modified, but there's nothing wrong with straightforward sans-serif faces for smallish bunches of text.
I've found that if I want to italicise something and underline it at the same time, that's a bit problematic, but that's unimportant.
Please don't OVER change what works so well. I'm sure you know at which point to stop, before "change for change's sake" happens.

A case in point is the major change to FS which since it changed I find Awful to use as a Dyslexic the old format was simpler and easier to navigate.

As a long time user of the chat box PLEASE don't change things whilst they work fine. The only quible I have is could a contact  mod button be added please . oh yeah and revolving door .
