I am going a step further and saying here's my altered logo!

I prefer that - the other one looks like a Dutch word. :)

But a NICE Dutch word!

Not that I'd ever call you schat!!

I don't think we can ever have too many smilies - can we?  Maybe some more wouldn't hurt.

Hi

The new logo is not for me I'm afraid.

Looks like a green rabbit with a dark forboding beard.

[ I hope no-one pronounces a diagnosis of my mental state of me based upon that ]

As many smilies as you like.

I disagree.  Smilies are very important in helping to convey the intended tone of a post.  The written word can be easily misunderstood, since expression, gestures and tone of voice are absent.

We could do with the "wicked" smilie, which is a little smiling devil.  Useful to convey "I'm only teasing, winding you up" - or  for playing devil's advocate.

New logo is fine.

Nice to be pre-warned of the other changes. Hopefully they won't impact on usability. Another forum I am on made big changes, but many of them didn't work properly on older browsers (we're not talking ancient here, just not the most up-to-date version). It made visiting a horrible experience. The only help offered was "update your browser". As a result, i rarely go there anymore.

Each to his own.  I dislike them especially when they are scattered about wholesale as is so often the case.

I think that what I noticed when I signed in this afternoon was that the top of the page looks a little bit ...well........sort of ...... naked. ???

I have no problem with the new log but have other things disappeared as well, or am I just imagining it?

In fact, I really don't mind too much about aesthetic changes to the site, just as long as the way the whole thing works doesn't make for any complications. After all, we all know that you can't improve on perfection! ;)

When I logged on, I immediately thought....that looks much more modern and clean. It's a thumbs up from me!

Great to see you working on improving this lovely site.
