On my monitor, the ad below the "welcome/forum/help etc" sits really close under the bar, and it is a lot larger than the "welcome" bar, so the words on the bar get a bit lost in amongst the ad.
Is there any way that the area for the ad can be moved a bit lower down to give some space below the bar (which would make it stand out more), or alternatively the words on the bar enlarged or outlined to make them stand out? As it is they have to compete with the ad.
[There is no problem when the ad in the same area is just lists of words inside the coloured area which also contains the bar. The problem only arises when there is a highly coloured ad.]
In fact I have just noticed that all the coloured ads (I am looking at an ad for a bank atm) - are very close to the rootschat words, so maybe some more space around all of the ad boxes would make the words stand out more? I see rootschat.com>general>the common room>the lighter side>post reply (re new rootschat logo), then an ad - the top of the ad box is touching the letters of "post reply (re new rootschat logo). I don't think it should touch the letters.

I'm not sure that I have explained myself very well, but I hope you can follow. In the long run it is not really important, and is just visual.
Regarding other changes, there is nothing that immediately comes to mind except that in the past I have lost all of my messages by accidentally clicking the delete button. (I know that others have had the same issue) So perhaps a warning box could appear to double check that you do actually want to" delete
all messages", might save a few tears.
I am just so used to the way everything works that I can't think of any other problems with the site.
