Checked the record at the Hive today and there is a marriage at Wolverley on 6 May 1832  by banns between Thomas Evans and Mark Hawkes.  Witnesses were Joseph Hawkes and Jane Evans

There is a Wolverley in Shropshire but this Wolverley is in Worcestershire, just north west of Kidderminster

Hi Phil

My previous job included work  relating to Wolverly High School on the edge of the village to the north west of Kidderminster. Here's a link to the village on Wiki  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolverley.
I got the info on the marriage from the Worcestershire Archives at the Hive which doesn't cover Shropshire.  :)  Lovely area.  I think there are two villages with the name

Best Wishes Kay

Hi Kay

I always though it was Shropshire but never mind being proved wrong & I never knew there were 2 Wolverleys so Ive learned something at least. I know Kiddy is in the far north of the county & this time last week I was walking round that town but now Im back to my routine at Weston.

Sorry I wasnt trying to argue with you

I hadn't realised before that there was a Wolverley in Shropshire - so you taught me something ;D
