searching for father of benjamin whitehead
born approx 1801 balsall common warwickshire.
he married ann court at hampton in arden.
until i can find his father i cannot move back.
i am unable to find anything about his birth.
i cannot get to warwick register office as i live in wales. any help please.

Is his POB taken from census or death certificate?Are his parents names shown on DC? Familysearch has an 1804 baptism and census data.

The Benjamin from the 1804 Birmingham Christening to Issac/Sarah has a Wife Sarah in 1861.
So not yours.

I would have expected Balsall births to be baptised at Hampton in Arden, but Benjamin isn't there
And the records for Hampton in Arden via Ancestry do cover Temple Balsall as well.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids. They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

I can see Benjamin's burial at Balsall Temple in 1865, said to be aged 67, and from Balsall. However, I cannot see any baptisms of "Whitehead" in Hampton in Arden in the period 1793-1803.
