« on: Monday 03 December 12 13:44 GMT (UK) »
Hi
Does anyone know if Alice Bunce was born in Minster Sheppey in about 1720-30? And any other info about her?

Regards
Wendy

I cannot find a baptism for an Alice BUNCE on the parish register transcriptions I have for Minster (nor the neighbouring parishes of Queenborough or Leysdown). There are a couple of burials for BUNCE's at Minster (1792 Hannah and 1814 Grace aged 68) and a couple of marriages - Daniel (1791) and Frances (1755).

Another place to look for baptisms on the Isle of Sheppey is at Sheerness Dockyard Chapel, but a check of the transcriptions here http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~penney/hm%20dockyard%20church/main%20page.htm does not show any BUNCE's.

Other Sheppey PR transcripts are available for Harty here http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~penney/harty%20church%20records/main%20page.htm there are a couple of BUNCE's in the late 1600's, but no Alice around 1725.
