Caroline or Carolene known to be in Ballarat  June 1903, Miners Right Certificate issued 19 June 1903
Address recorded: Cobden St Mt Pleasant.

I have the original Miners Right in my ephemera stash and would be happy to return to Caroline's family upon request.

Have now made contact with a member of Caroline's family and the Certificate will soon be on its way to South Australia.

Still hunting for living links to the Emerson family Nhill District as I have a collection of original studio portraits found in a box from Hoffman Empire Studios , Photography Studios. Nhill and Photography studios Swanston St Melbourne circa 1800 - 1915, or thereabouts.

I am looking for info on a John Bamford whose parents are given as Thomas and Mary Ann Birch in a marriage in 1883 (Ida Palmer, Qld). He married a Mary Elizabeth Boyd and I am trying to link her to a Elizabeth Mary Boyd who remarried in 1898 (as Bamford) in Melbourne, Victoria.

John was one of the people murdered in the Wonnangatta murders in 1918. The fate of his wife Mary is unknown, suspected murdered well before, but I think she ran off and married someone else in Melbourne.

If the relative of Caroline might have some inforamation that would help me make or break my link, I'd love to see it
