I believe that I have found my grandfather on the California Death Indexes, but there are several letters and numbers that are a mystery to me.
The entry reads Tweedle John W H 1 52 70 11 13 30 30 59036
I understand the first 2 items (surname, first name) and guess that the 'W' stands for William, his middle name.
'52' is his age at death, and 11 13 30 (13th Nov 1930) is the date of death.
However, I am stumped by 'H', '1' and '70'
Can anyone help to decipher please?
Ruth
