Help to find burial of HERBERT JOHN ECCLESTONE
« on: Saturday 01 December 12 11:50 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

I am trying to find the death/burial record for Herbert John Ecclestone.
Details I do know about him:
He was an ex Royal Navy Reverse person.
Born 02/04/1872, Somerleyton, Suffolk.
Married to Maria Gooch, 1904, Suffolk.
Served on Minesweepers in WWI, and was medically discharged 1918.
After that I found him in the Royal Infirmary, Great Yarmouth.
Then in 1924 was moved to Swansea - details from National Archives Navy form.
Don’t move who moved him – himself, the Navy or the Hospital.

I’ve search high and low on various databases and cannot find any mention of his death which I  believe to be in  the 1930’s, but could be later.

Any advice would be most welcome.

Bob

Hi Bob

I have only just found your post about Herbert John Ecclestone as I have been having a rest from research.
If Herbert John Ecclestone is son of William and Maria Ecclestone then I have some research on the same family.

Hi Joan
I have not been able to trace a burial for Herbert John Ecclestone and most of the siblings have been difficult to track down too.
The line which I have been tracing is Herberts younger brother Albert and the ancestestry of the family as a whole.

Really thrilled you are still online with Rootschat.
I am researching Herbert and Maria's son Leslie Frank born 1918 for his daughter Katrina.
I live in Gorleston, so quite easy for me as they lived 2, Primrose Terrace Quayside, Gorleston on 1911 census.
Too late to give you information tonight, but will get in touch tomorrow.
My email address is     lojoja57@sky.com

Kind regards.
