Hi

Posting so little info doesn't help us to help you - particularly with a surname like Taylor

Quote
from Shuttleworth or Ramsbottom

Do you mean actually born there or born elsewhere and just lived there?

The 1911 census has 154 entries for the surname Taylor born in Ramsbottom and 66 born in Shuttleworth

Without more info we have no way of knowing which particular Taylors you are researching

At least one previous Taylor post-

I am looking for James Taylor, who married a Jane ??. Her birth place is variously given as Addingham or Skipton , West Yorkshire. James was from Shuttleworth in Lancashire and was a butcher. They had. Son, George in about 1839. I have Jane  and George in census listings but can't find Jane's maiden name. Many thanks

Mother of George appears to be Jane Parkinson.

Hi Lancslad

Does this post relate to the same family as your previous post?

Sorry to have been so vague. Yes Jane Parkinson does appear to be James wife. She apparently came from Addingham in West Yorkshire but I have not been able to verify that from a birth record yet.

Hi

Is there a reason why you have started a new thread when your previous one is still current?

If this topic is completely different to your other - no problem - just point us in the right direction and we will see what we can do

However - if it's all part & parcel of your other post - you risk people wasting time duplicating info
