Weirdly enough BMD indexed deaths on www.GenesReunited.co.uk shows a death record in 1838 in St Lukes, London for a Neri John Hannam.  www.familysearch.org does show records for Neri Hannam in a couple of ways such as a marriage in 1836 in London.

Maybe John Delme Hannam did his time overseas and then came back to the UK, or his son came back on his own.

Consider trying to go backwards from Neri through his death cert or other records??

Really interested in discussing Neri HANNAM. I have family letters that mention a Neri HANNAM.

There appears to be a George Neri HANNAM resident and having family in London in the mid 1800's. I am trying to put together a timeline of the different records I find as he sometimes seems to go by George, sometimes by Neri and at other times George Neri. There also appear to be multiple wives for whom I am having trouble finding deaths.

I am hoping to connect him to the rest of my Hannam family in which a son called George is included born c1794-1807.

With regard to the Sep Qtr 1838 death of Neri John HANNAM that you mention, his birth appears to have been recorded in the BDM indexes as Nori John HANNAM in the Jun Qtr 1838.

By coincidence I  live in New Zealand, but have nothing to connect Neri to NZ at this stage and no mention of John Delme HANNAM in my research so far.

                     My initial post tells you everything that I know about John Delme Hannam, which is very little he seems to have been born, baptised and then disappeared. Unfortunately I cannot help you with Neri either as I have not come across one yet. This does not mean to say that they do not exist just that I have not found them yet .
