What parishes in birmingham in 1824?

Hi All

I've run into a brickwall and don't know where to go from here.

My earliest ancestor is THOMAS GEORGE SYLVEN born Abt 1824 Birmingham.

The first Sylven entry in the BMD is his marriage in 1853 in surrey from this I have found his father is JAMES and is a victualer.

All the Census entries (1861, 1871, 1881) state his birthplace as birmingham.

My next thought is to find his birth in a church register but I have no idea which parishes would have been considered as part of Birmingham in 1824.

Does anyone know of a publication or web site which may contain a list of birmingham parishes?

Unfortunately living in Australia makes it a bit difficult to visit Birmingham and check out the local history centre

The answer to your question of what were the Birmingham parishes in 1824 is as follows (actually 1834 but close enough):

All Saints
St George
St Martin
St Mary
St Paul
St Peter (may have been later)
St Phillip
St Thomas.
