Shotton was a relic of a mad quaker & a loony communist headmasters. Some very good stuff but some mad, bad and corrupt. Brutal regime 1978 to 1982 full of nutters and those who should have been in borstal or broadmoor. Social education that was mismatched and mismanaged. A blight on many a life once left. A relic of lennof & lampen era. Only thing it taught me was I never wanted to treat another human so poorly.
