Agnes Aige (Agae)
« on: Wednesday 14 November 12 18:25 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to trace the dates of birth and death of Agnes Aige (Agae) who was born in Govan Larnarkshire about 1696 to Bartholomew Aige and Margaret Smith and married James Ritchie  in 1717 and died about 1796. If possible, I would also like to track down the churchyard where she was buried and find details of her headstone and monumental inscription. Can anyone p;easehelp me?

Hi qtonenz

Agnes died about 100 years old? What is the source of info for her parents' names?

Parents look to have married (or banns for marriage) in 1694 - https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XTBK-N2W

Agnes' birth/christening doesn't show on the Old Parish Registers unfortunately  :-\

Maybe a brother's marriage here https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XTBN-ZWB

Could this be the old Glasgow name Algie?
