looking for Daniel Park on a ships list going to Australia from Scotland 1901

Hi, Searching for my relative who emigrated to Australia some time after 1901, have tried some ships lists but have had no luck. His name is Daniel Park from Wishaw Scotland (his occupation may have been a miner) he was born in Wishaw 29th Oct. 1871. his father was John Park mother Isabella Wilson married on 9th Nov. 1866 in Quarter Hamilton Scotland. Daniel Park was on the 1901 census so he must have left for Australia after that year but we don't know when. According to the family stories, he went to Perth Australia but it may also have been Adelaide. I know I havn't got a lot to go on, I've tried my best but I'm quite new at this research thing and I'm getting no-where at the moment, hope someone can help. Kind Regards Dobelove.

Dobelove, this question might be better on the Australia board where arrivals into the country can be checked. I think better records were kept of those arriving in Australia rather than leaving Scotland.

Have you checked to see if he is on the 1911 census as that will narrow the dates down to 10 years.

There are people here with access to various records who I hope will be able to find Daniel on immigration records.

   I cannot see him on immigration records to Australia ( but perhaps others can?).

   I can't see his death in Western Australia http://www.bdm.dotag.wa.gov.au
   I can't see his death in South Australia http://www.genealogysa.org.au
   I can't see his death in NSW http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/
   I can't see his death on ancestry in Australia.

   It is a surprisingly uncommon name.  On electoral rolls there is a Daniel Dunn Park in 1930 in NSW who then vanishes.

   So sorry I am just reporting failure 

   On ancestors on board http://www.ancestorsonboard.com/ there is a Daniel Park going to NZ and  five to Canada but none with correct birth date.  I can't see his death in NZ https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz

I wonder if it could be one of his brothers (Thomas or James ) who came to Australia?

On ancestors on board I can see a Thomas Park b 1867 who travelled from London to Sydney, Australia in 1907 as well as some others without an age or birthdate which are also possible

I can also see some possibilities for James Park arriving in Australia.

I can see a Daniel Park age 26 arriving in 1926 on persic http://prov.vic.gov.au/  perhaps age has been mistranscribed
