1679 Wybrants deed COMPLETED WITH THANKS
« on: Sunday 11 November 12 19:08 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for further help transcribing the above deed. I hope to attach the copy of my transcript so far with the problem text indicated in red, and a section of text at lines B7-10. I would be most grateful for any help

Hi Felling,

Your transcript did not seem to attach, but it's not a problem as the excerpt is so short. I read these three lines as:

"p[er]fect & fullfill All the Covenants Articcles Clauses & Agreem[ents] which are
Expressed & contained in a paire of Indentures Tripartite betweene him the
s[ai]d Alderman of the first p[ar]t Bartholomew Wybrants Sonne of the s[ai]d Alderman"

Many thanks to Freckneale for his great help. I am finally adding two very short passages in each of which only one word is a problem on lines A3 and A11 of my transcript. All help greatly appreciated

At A11 the missing bit is an abbreviated "defender of the faith"

On A3, Matthew French was a "Marcht" = Merchant.
