1870’s photo of girl for colour please
« on: Sunday 11 November 12 13:50 GMT (UK) »
I would be very happy to have the attached photo coloured.
You all did such a magnificent job on previous photos.
I would be very grateful if you could work the same magic on this one.
The photo has been up before for dating

I forgot to add that she would have had blue or blue grey eyes.

Thank you

Terri

Thank you so much Terry

The work you have done is fantastic.
It looks like the photos were taken in colour. I have printed both of them and they look so real.
The skin tones and hair colour really suit her. (I think she is Ada Guest my mother’s aunty)
The dress colours work so well and suit her.
I also like the curtain fabric and background.
Even the colour of the chair looks just as it should be.
I am so happy and grateful for what you have done and my mother will love them also.
Regards
Terri

Hi Chinakay
I was not quite around then  ;) but my mother (the youngest of 10) is 93 and Ada was her father’s  oldest sister b1860. All that side of the family had blue or blue grey eyes as did my mother’s siblings.

Regards

Terri

Thank you Caroline

This is amazing.
It all works so well together. The detail of what is on the pedestal and fan is great with the pink flowers softening the dress.
I have also printed this photo to give to my mother.
With the colour photos I gave my mother previously of her grandmother she put one up in a frame at a time and every week or so changes the photo so she enjoys them all one at a time. I enjoy seeing which is on display when I visit.
I will get another frame for these photos so she can have the pleasure of looking and appreciating each of them.
Many thanks

Regards

Terri
