John Patrick or Patrick John Flanagan

I have been looking for many years to try find in the 1861 census my 2nd Great Grandfather, Patrick Flanagan, born Roscommon c1828.
He was noted as John Flanagan living in Birmingham in 1851 census with Michael (Isaac) his brother; and Lydia his sister (not found after 1851). Patrick and Michael were noted as mattress makers/upholsters in Birmingham. During 1855 John had a business in Essex Street and in 1858 in Freeman Street and Aston Street. I found Patrick in Dudley as a lodger in 1871 census, and also 1881 and 1891.
It is 1861 census that is intriguing as he was thought to have been first married around this time, but no record found of marriage or census entry...only one census entry found that nearly fits, states he may have been a farm hand?
If anyone can relate to any of this or provide any further information, I would be greatful.

I presume the one you have found where he is a farm hand is the one where he is with the Heane family in Perry Barr?  This i the only one i can find that may fit also

There are 3 entries between 61 and 71 for a Patrick Flanagn marrying in Birmingham.  As you have him on later census do you have an idea of his wifes name?
Dec 63 6d 288 Mary Morris or Sarah Jane Wilkins
Sept 64 6d 241 Mary Hagan or Elizabeth Newey
Dec 65 6d 370 Bridget Baggott or Anne Roche

There is only 1 in Birmingham for John Flanagan between 61 and 71

In 1894 Patrick Flanagan married Sarah Collett, nee Guest and Bowen. Although in 1881 census (Hanagan or Flanagan) it had Patrick and Sarah married...possibly because Patrick was still married?
1871 Patrick was a lodger in Cromwell Street, Dudley...just doors down from where Sarah was at that time.
I have looked at the marriages you have provided , thanks for taking time with that...I will need to go back over them again especially Hagan and Roche.

Im unsure if it was Perry Barr area where  he was possibly a farm labourer as this has come from another source and I havent had time to research if it was Heans family? I will have another look at it, as I initially dismissed it...Patricks father Patrick was a farmer and also noted as a tailor in other documents!

I did find his brother Michael...married in Birmingham. documented as Isaac marrying Ann Latham, which does fit.
