Gum-Gumm Family Name

Hi Everyone, My Name is Sherry Gum and I am in search for Info on the Gum family that lived in England...All I can tell you is my first Gum Came here around the 1680's and received a land grant from William Penn what is now known as Delaware..We believe he also brought a son with him...Trying to find the wife's name..She might have died there in England before Roger came here..
Please, any help on this family is welcome and appreciated..This has been a long going search for all us Gum's..

Hi Sherry,

There are quite alot of Family Trees around which state that Roger
married Mathilde Holcombe in 1670.  They say that Roger was born in 1645
in Culmstock, Devon. He died in 1696 in Sussex County, Delaware.

There is also a Roger who died in 1715 in Delaware too.
Just wondered if they are Father and son.   Also that there was a
younger son called John who was born around 1675.
I did see the paper for the land grant
With it being on peoples Trees it does need checking.
Hope this gets you a little further.  He seems to be quite a few
families ancestor on line.
