Hi,


I am trying to find out about my gt grandmother's family, she was Jemima Strachan born in 1882 in Angus. In the 1901 census she lived with her James Strachan at 32 Lilybank Road Dundee. Also in the household were Helen Strachan (20), William Srachan (17) and Jessie Strachan (13)

Any help much appreciated

Hi

I have a bit more detail from the 1901 census, they lived at 32 lilybank road in Dundee and Jemima had 2 sisters Jessie (13) and Helen (20) and a brother William (17).

If anyone has any information on what happened to these individuals including whether they married and had kids I would be most grateful.

Hi

George Strachan born 1888 married Mary Ann Martin 1883. They had 5 children, one of which was Jemima Strachan (Memmie) her married name was McKay? They moved to England.

We are currently researching our family tree. It seems we are distant relatives! My maternal grandfather, William Strachan was born in Dundee.
