my local library has access to public member trees and found Alice parents.
we have tried all the census " zero results " keeps coming up.

Alice was born 1875 Norwood.Married 1899 Lewisham.

There's a 6 yr old Alice Skinner with widowed mother Charlotte and four siblings living at 82 Wordsworth Road, Penge on 1881 census.

Hi that 1881 looks good, but in 1871 Charlotte aged 31 b Leiston, Suffolk is still shown as a widow? Census ref RG10/848/9/12
In 1861 Charlotte 21 b Leiston is married to an Able who is aged 25 with daughter Sarah aged 1 on RG09/446/49/1

Have you checked where the person who made this tree got te info from, and that it is correct?

Someone else's tree cannot be relied upon as a source without evidence to back it up.
