I have a blackberry, don't know if other phones work the same. I plug my phone into the computer, choose the 'sync media' option on the phone, open Windows media Player, choose my album, choose the 'sync media' option somewhere along the top of the page.....and the chosen album comes up in a box at the side, just confirm the sync and it's done.

I'm not at all technical, tried iTunes and got in a complete muddle, but I managed to copy some CDs via WMP recently so I hope it'll work for you. I think...(I'll probably get shot down!) they are automatically MP3 files once they are in Windows media player.  ???

Bumbling along...I'm sure an expert will help soon!

I've used this successfully in the past:

There is a link halfway down the page for the free version.

Good luck.

It would probably be easier to 'rip' the original CDs again into MP3 using one of the scores of free programs out there.  Presumably you still have the originals.

I agree with Nick,  its one of those sad lessons in hindsight. Copying in the right format, scanning to the right DPI etc.,

shame but we all seem to make the same mistake and I've been know to repeat the error as its not something I do often enough to remember! Always check the compatible formats for all equipment first, whether is music players, DVD players, modern TVs, ipads, phones.

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.
