I now have the Oliver Green/Fanny May Marriage Certificate and although this Fanny May is on my tree as part of the May family, she is not my Great Grandmother. Fanny was the Daughter of Job May and Mary nee Swadling. My Fanny was the Daughter of John & Emma May nee Franklin.
I think I will put this one to bed for now as I don't seem to be making any headway. This is a real brick wall and may never be solved, so I must move on to other things while I still have time. Odd as it may seem the two Fanny Mays' were Cousins. Just my luck to have thw wanderer!Thanks to everyone who tried to help.
