Hi Genealiza,

I am wondering if Cora is the adoptive daughter of Daniel and Emma Brooks or of one of their sons and Sarah Brooks (their daughter-in-law on the 1880 US Census.  Daniel and Emma are old enough to be grandparents but I will search further.  Thanks again!

I spoke to my aunt and Cora's other married name was Cust not Cuft and I have found her husband, John Henry Cust and her border crossing on family search.  See the link below.  Thanks to all for your help!

Looks like John Henry Cust died and Cora returned to Niagara Falls (29 May 1934)  The death record for him gave a date of death 23 April 1934 Grantham. Ontario.
On the border crossing it says Cora Cust nee Halloran - nee Washburn. Born Crown Point. New York. Had been in the USA from birth 25 June 1876 to May 1930.
Son John Halloran.  Oswego. New York.

The names McMahon and Cora Cust appear in the Niagara Falls NY Gazette Wednesday November 1 st 1944 -  ???

Sgt Harold McMahon and Mrs McMahon left last night for Camp Gordon Ontario, after spending Sgt McMahon's 10 day leave with his Aunt Mrs Cora Cust of Memorial Parkway.
