Cora Holleran Cuft McMahon
« on: Saturday 27 October 12 19:52 BST (UK) »
I am trying to trace down any details concerning my grandfather's second wife.  Her name was Cora Holleran Cuft McMahon.   My grandfather was John McMahon.  This was Cora's third marriage.  Her previous married names were Holleran and Cuft.  They married in Our Lady of Lebanon Church (Catholic) in Niagara Falls New York and lived in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.  According to my aunt, Cora was an American and she is buried in Niagara Falls, New York.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

This was interesting because Cora and Patrick lived at Fifth Street in 1920  ??? There is an announcement of an engagement in the Niagara Falls Gazette 1924 - Thursday July 8 th 1924

The engagement is announced of Mrs Cora Halloran of Fifth Street to William Kieb of Louville, New York , the wedding to take place in the near future.

Sandra,

Thank you kindly.  This is obviously the right Cora because my Grandfather and Cora lived at 1108 Highland Avenue!!  Again, many thanks for finding this information.  While I was typing this your fourth reply came in!!  I will follow up.  Kindest regards.

Cora's pob is listed as Crown Point, NY on her son's marriage license (previous post).  Could this be her in 1880 in Crown Point, NY?  Adopted dau of Daniel and Emma Brooks.

Hi Genealiza,

Thank you for finding these documents!! I will follow up, particularly her possible engagement/marriage to William Kieb.  My Aunt may have been incorrect about the Cuft name.
