A GIGANTIC ASK
« on: Saturday 27 October 12 17:52 BST (UK) »
Hi all this is a really gigantic ask and I am going to be suprised if I get what I am asking, this is an insight to what and why im asking well here goes
my uncle who is nearing his 80s was evacuee, his real father died aged 33 but during the time he was away his mum my gran remarried, my uncle returned to the strain of having a new father of whom he did not get on with, he left the family home and returned to the evacuee home from which he felt secure in derbyshire and still lives in that area today, apart from a couple of his sisters my mum being one of them he cut away from all his family, for a few years as he has got older he has been interested in the family tree I have shown him lots of paperwork from his mums side these being Buckley, the only photo I have is one of my grt gran who married Duriah Buckley,if anybody has photo's from this Buckley family and are willing to share  so I can show him his relatives that would be great,I truely understand if I get nowhere with this quest because I know how corney it must sound but I would just love to put possible faces to names for him.

Thankyou in advance

Hi Elzabels thanks for your reply, I did view these photo's when they first went online to see but most of the Buckleys I saw were not my immediate line or were names I didnt regonise,on some  it just said slide but there was no photograph showing, maybe I will email and ask if there is an actual photograph, just a question if anybody can answer has any of you guys researching Buckley managed to order Pics from the site.

Thanks again for your help
