his parents where julia emma nee holder lister.father was george lister lived hunslet leeds.rowland born 1905.found 1911 census but miscribed his name as romband,the m should be a w and the b an l,any info on him ,marriage,death.im not sure whether he left england.thankyou x

There is also a Rowland Lister who married Edith Woodhouse in Leeds in September 1930.

Roland Lister born 10 September 1905 was baptised at Leeds Emmanuel Church on 22 October 1905, son of John Henry (a spirit merchant) and Nellie Lister - I can't read the address I'm afraid - looks like 105 Tonbridge Street.

It looks like the marriage to Edith Woodhouse was at the registry office so you'd have to get the marriage certificate to see if it's the right Rowland

i do not think this is him the parents according to mccartie were george/julia
the address on this baptism is 105,tonbridge street. they are still there on the next census

There is a Rowland Lister born Hunslet (Leeds) in 16 April 1904, died Leeds 1982.

Can't find a baptism for him.

yes he had  ann she was my grandmother.......she also had a daughter ann xxxthey were all born i beleive in hunslet thats where my mother was born too.
