Harley LLewelyn Turner born 9.9.1890 Birmingham Buried Witton Cemetery 1961.
In 1939 he is living in the court houses back of Park Lane and a builders labourer.
1921 electoral roll Berners St
1924 -1926there is a Harley Turner living in a caravan in Saltly at Bankdale Road.
1927-29 Tower Road Aston.
1930 37 Norbiton Road with Edith.

1901 census 53 Unett St
Fred (Alfred LLewelyn  )33 silversmith born Coventry
Emma 33 born Handsworth
(H)Arley 10  Birmingham
Arlene (actually Jessie) 8
Fan (actually Ida) 4 daughter
Reginald 6 mths.      (born 10.10.1900)

Other children Edith 28.5.1903 while at 32 Church Vale Birmingham
Cecillia  Dec qtr 1908

In 1891 his parents were at 33 Carver St.
His father's full name was Alfred Charles LLewelyn turner bapt 14.6.1871 at Coventry parents 2 Cherry ST Alfred and Martha Turner watch maker


So it looks like Alfred LLewelyn Turner you know is Harley LLewelyn Turner's father.

His parenst married at Coventry Holy Trinity 17.6.1866 (Alfred was actually born 1867 and baptised latter)

Martha Harrison 19 trimmings maker Bishop St Joseph Harrison weaver
wit Treaside Clarke and Mary Ludford.

The couple moved to Belfast by 1901  and to Blackpool where Alfred died 12.10.1924 at 17 Kent Road.Strangely he is buried in Belfast City Cemetery.Martha is also there 17.9.1939 age 92.

Thank you for all that information, I really am grateful. My grandfather was also Harley Turner born in 1914 to Arley/Harley Turner and Mary Emma McGrath, Mary Emma died in 1919 and my grandfather aged 5 was raised by Mary’s twin sister Kathleen in Birkenhead Liverpool. We also have a connection to Norah Turner ( Lady Norah Docker) but I’ve not been able to find out the connection. My mum remembers as a child my grandfather taking about Lady Docker but can’t remember who she was in connection to my grandfather.

I really appreciate the information you have provided.
