marriage in Coolbanagher 1861

Could someone please tell me if there is anyway of finding these records? Eliza Dyer and John Horgan. married Coolbanagher 20 Aug 1861. I would like to buy the certificate but can't find the details to help as I don't know if they married in a church or not and am unsure what religion they were.  many thanks

If the marriage was non-Catholic then it would be included in civil records, and you can check for it on the usual BMD Index, and if you find a possible match, order a cert from the GRO.

If the marriage was Catholic then you would have to check for a church record of the marriage as these were only included in civil records from 1864.

the fact that this is included in the Civil BMD Index means that it was a non-Catholic or Registry Office marriage.

Maybe they married in the C of I Church in Coolbanagher?  Records held in RCB Library in Dublin.  I know that there were Dyers in the parish.

I have the marriage certificate now, thanks. They were married in the parish church at Coolbanagher.
Now, can anyone tell me just where Killamy is? I have searched the townlands and can't find it.!!

The only townland I see in Coolbanagher parish beginning with 'Kil' is 'Killimy'

What's the context of the 'Killamy' address - bride or groom ?

The marriage would usually take place in the bride's current parish of residence, but the groom could be from another area.

just spotted a Joseph Dyer on Griffith's Valuation at Killimy townland, Coolbanagher parish in 1851.

maybe Eliza's father ?
