There is an 1842 marriage for a Mary Whyte with father George in Co Down listed in the index of the Ulster Historical Foundation marriages ie  http://www.ancestryireland.com but there is no match under James Carvil/Carvill/Carville
Other Carvill and White/Whyte have over 30 entries under Kilbroney in Ros Davies Co Down website, which might give more clues
Keep going, Jim

Hi Rose UK
From http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/index these are in date all about 1863
CARVIL    PATRICK    DOWN    KILBRONEY    ie BALLINCURRY townland
CARVILL    HENRY    DOWN    KILBRONEY    LEVALLYREAGH townland
CARVILL    EDWARD    DOWN    KILBRONEY    ie MOYGANNON townland FRANCIS CARVILL & SON       DOWN    KILBRONEY   ie NEWTOWN townland

cut & paste details removed- please use above link to search Griffith's Valuation

See Ros Davies parish map for kilbroney it shows the townlands of  LEVALLYREAGH and DRUMSESK are neighbours and the homestead might be in the border region.
Griffiths valuation website has the ordnance survey map of about 1860 marked up with each properties border So it will take patience to find on the map, I have just done it  its entrance to the farm buildings and adjoining fields is almost opposite the gate lodge to  Knockbarragh Park in the adjoining townland of Knockbarragh/Ballyagholy. The river Moygannon looks as if its on or within the property. One might see it on  Google maps
Good luck,  this could be your henry
