The information given in census records is only as good as the informant or person giving the information.  Wouldn't read to much in to a different immigration year, this can be quite common and 2 years difference is nothing compared to some.

Hi Sandra,

I know you cannot always rely on what is written down. I've discovered this over the time I have been researching my family. It's just that sometimes you have to be careful you don't go off on a wild goose trail by claiming the wrong family as yours.
