Hi again.

I have looked at the original register entry in the Parish Records today.

The confusion seems to be with the Vicar spelling the entry as below.

St Edmund's P.C. After Banns

Pg. 92, No. 183
December 25th 1880

John Thomas Morley, 19, Bachelor, Finisher, 55 Somerset St., father William, Cabinet Maker, to
Sarah Ann Godrey, 19, Spinster, 55 Somerset St., father Edward, Moulder

John signed John Thomas Morbey and Sarah as Sarah Ann Godfrey

Witnesses:  James Aubrey Parkinson and Jane Morbey

Thank You Seahall, where did you go to see the records? I wanted to reply sooner but couldnt work out how to even having asked contact support. Then I noticed the reply box at the top of the screen so hopefully you will get this. Thank you again.

Hi JackieC59.

I looked at the entry at the Northampton Library.  :)

You can also see the original P.R.'s at the Northampton Record Office.
