Have a gold ring inscribed John Richard Ripley 01 2 Oct.1819 Pt.66 (this might be Olt or OPt) Anyone know of him or what inscription might refer to, or where I could look for info?

It's a mourning ring. The inscription would be (I think!) Obit.66.
