Immigration date was 1908 - New York Passenger List for Richard Hale - Richard Hale - born 1887 Huddersfield. England. Aged 20 years and 6 months. Married Plummer. Father Mr Hale, 173 Beach St. Yonkers. New York
Port of departure: Liverpool, England to New York on the Celtic arriving 31 January 1908
Nearest relative was Mr R Hale.,  60 Hunting Towler Road. Sheffield.

There is a family tree with Richard Hale, Annie E Dunstan and Stanley. Looks like Richard married in Sheffield. Yorkshire  - Q4 1907  - 9 c 1101

Fultonhistory.com has an obituary for John Hale in the Yonkers Statesman newspaper which fits with the 1924 death date I found above.  His wife is not mentioned in the obit, but it lists 5 children (Mrs. Clifford Radley of Yonkers, Mrs. Harry Hassel of New York City, Robert of Yarmouth, England, Richard of Ontario, Canada, and Jeffrey of New York City) and 2 Hale grandchildren of Bryn Mawr Park.  Internment was in Oakland Cemetery.

Also on fultonhistory are a number of articles mentioning Maud Radley separating from her husband.

Mildred Schleck/Hale of 265 Sedgewick Avenue, a former employee of Herberts Candy Shop on South Broadway died unexpectedly at Yonkers Professional Hospital aged 47 years. etc etc

The daughter of Geoffrey and Mildred was Barbara Hale who married in 1955 to Harry M Dando, son of Mrs Jennie Dando and the late Charles Dando.
