He appears to be on the 1920 Census here - https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MJ15-F9L#  He was a building engineer living at 116 Sherman Ave.  (The naturalization index gives the same address, and no other specific information.)  The census says he & his wife emigrated in 1906.

In the 1915 New York state census, John is living with daughter Maud Radley & her husband Clifford, wife Emmeline, and son Geoffrey.  John was listed as a plumber.

Emmeline & Geoffrey are together in the 1925 state census at the same address, but John is not with them.  There's a possible death on the death index at www.italiangen.org for John Hale, age 64, on 2 Oct. 1924 in Manhattan.

On www.fultonhistory.com, there is an obituary for Millicent Hassall, daughter of the late John & Emmeline Ennis Hale.  It says she was born in England 17 Jun. 1890 and previously lived in New York City.  Millicent died 21 Jun. 1985 in Kent, New York.  If you do a search for the exact phrase "Emmeline Ennis Hale", it should come up.

Also on the fultonhistory.com site, there is an obituary for Frank Hale, who died 7 Mar. 1919 in Yonkers.   It says he was survived by his wife, 4 children, his parents, and 5 siblings - Geoffrey Hale of New York, Richard Hale in the Canadian service, Robert Hale of England, Mrs. Maud Radley and Mrs. Millicent Hassall of Yonkers.  Internment was to be at Oakland cemetery.
