John Henry Taylor's roots
« on: Tuesday 16 October 12 22:14 BST (UK) »
John Henry Taylor b.1792 in the parish of St Anne's Soho was an architect and Borough Surveyor in Westminster and later in Lambeth. Can anyone help me to trace his parents, please? - I don't know my way around London records.

He married Sophia Wilford in 1816 at St Mary's, Westminster, if it helps to find the right one.

Good morning from Australia..

No proof .. but this might be the man you wanted.  Marriages that early won't have details of parents on them sorry, and his marriage to Sophia shows witnesses were WILFORDs.

Only seeing one other definite child to this couple... Richard Francis ... not sure if that helps.
