The 1913 Archway record for Robert Eunson mentioned above is for his Hamilton probate record and it is indicated that he is a farmer living in Koromutua at the time of death. This corresponds to a 1911 Electoral Roll record for Waikato electorate for Robert and Margaret Eunson, Koromatua, Robert's occupation is farmer. You can have a look at Robert's will online through Familysearch at the following link: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1951-32306-9952-99?cc=1865481&wc=M9M6-LT5:n268293007
Regards, Craig.

Hello granny lukeis

.....never knew where the hubby died as he just vanished

No, he didn't vanish  ;D   ... the information supplied here in Reply 10  by craigt (in 2012), is for the Robert EUNSON whose wife was Margaret.    Craig has also given the link to the Probate record for Robert EUNSON which confirms his wife's name and that he died on 12 June 1913.

His death notice here >

https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/MS19130628.2.3
( "Bunnythorpe" is the word that is partly obscured in the notice. )

Another resource shows that his death was registered at Hamilton, ... haven't as yet found a burial or cremation record (maybe the unusual surname has been spelled incorrectly ?      I'll look further.)

It's a very common name within Scotland on the outer Hebrides etc,yes there's no actual cremation or burial record for him, oddly too bunnythorpe is quite a distance to from Hamilton, why he just drops off & disappears from the electoral roll with his wife is weird,he simply disappears,i dont think she's noted as a widow for quite some time after wards,I've failed to find any record of a burial or cremation for him on the nzsg burial locator CD

Trish yes the 1930s thing makes extremely difficult as they dint note the names of the spouse etc, we've always had a issue with 1930 because one where was he in the electoral rolls pre 1930 etc,1913 makes more sense & thanks to the spouse is him

Bunnythorpe Cemetery is now administered by Palmerston North City Council. Nothing on their cemetery database.

This is the Robert in Invercargill.
