Hi Mahnrut
This is my third post; hopefully will be able to send a PM henceforth. Thanks for your reply that I have only just become aware of. The Dickerson family relates to a friend, for whom, as I have carried out extensive research in Suffolk for my lines, I have kept a look out for the Dickersons. She is related to/from those in Bucklesham. She had hit a brick wall re the baptism of David born c. 1740 who married Sarah Asbey. Now in Woolverstone- close to Wherstead and as you probably are aware- there is a Daniel Dickerson born c. 1746 who married twice- firstly in 1773. It seems possible that the Daniel you mention born c. 1775 could possibly be a son of the Daniel in Woolverstone. The problem being that there are no baptisms of children of Daniel in or around Woolverstone/Wherstead to confirm or otherwise. From other baptismal records I have found it is highly likely that Daniel in Woolverstone is a brother of David in Bucklesham and hence could take the line (possibly yours) back at least one more generation. As far as I know no one else has as yet been able to find the baptisms/parents of Daniel born c. 1746 and David born c. 1740.
In that this line might be yours will be glad to share should you wish.
Regards
Stephen
