I prefer the 1885 version, at least it there was a light during daylight hours.

And I bet the trains were more punctual than the cross city route currently is ... so says someone who has to use it every day at the moment.

I still remember the old Bull Ring and that underpass you had to go down near where Waterstones is. I hadn't been into Moor Street station since they had redeveloped the old part as the new entrance area until this year. Looks quite posh now.

I remember using it during the 1980s when you still arrived at the old station, and then later when the new one opened and the old part was not used prior to redevelopment. It was always a trip to the sales arriving at Moor Street just after Xmas. Always thought it was sad they hadn't done anything with it for so many years so nice to see now.
