Hi Dinks,

Thank you for the info. He is certainly elusive...

Do you know of any other relations of William Isaac Locker other than his wife and children, and the name of his father?

I will let you know if I ever find out anymore about him.

Thanks.

Hi hillhouse,
I am searching as a 3rd party for William Isaac Locker, his grandaughter ( who is 82 now) is my cousin by marriage. I have been looking into him on her behalf and what a brick wall he is. So I can only repeat what I have heard. That William had a sister Maria Locker, though all searches show no result,William named one of his daughter's Maria after her also that the family, possibly had connections to the or a church somehow? I have several 'Locker" families in folders one of which has strong church conections, if this story is indeed true? but all searches around that family have not revealed William Isaacs birth. The family had a bible that recorded the Locker lineage but it was lost or destroyed in WW2 during the Liverpool May Blitz. I have not contacted any of the other children of William Isaac and Mary Locker, can I assume that you are one?

We are about to order more certificates of the Locker children and Mary Simpson's birth also her mothers 2nd marriage in 1881 to John Flood as seen on family search. I have some Simpson Scottish details ( marriage/ census) but still undecided if I have the right family.

I am new to this site, can we email each other privately? I use ancestry - world wide and find my past but live in Australia so unable to do any hands on research, until my next trip back.
