Oh wow Sandra you have been busy, thank you so much and apologies for not coming back to this topic earlier!  I thought I had notifications set up but I didn't so I didn't realise I had all these new replies!  That's definitely my Wesley and Arthur, and probably Joe as well as they had a brother called Joseph.

Thank you so so much for all this new info, makes for interesting reading.  These are the first ancestors I've come across that have emigrated :)

You're very welcome, pleased to have helped. Pity couldn't find more on Arthur, looks as if he stayed in Canada and they have quite strict privacy laws.

Happy Hunting

Hi there:  I am looking for my Grandmothers crossing from Bedfordshire to Canada settling in Vancouver, B.C.
MAUD(MAUDE) BUCKINGHAM (1884) left sometime after the Titanic, so would be late 1912 onward, with her infant son WILLIAM BUCKINGHAM,  born in NOV 1910, her husband HORACE BUCKINGHAM (1885) followed them shortly after.

Thank you for any info, or where I can look further.

Hi Gail

There is an entry for a Maud Buckingham travelling with a child Wm. H. Buckingham on the Empress of Britain which arrived in Saint John, New Brunswick on April 27, 1912.  They were destined to Vancouver, BC.

Hopefully, you should be able to see the image of the page at this link:

Hi Gail

I found an entry for a Horace Wm. Buckingham on the Tunisian which arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia on March 17, 1911.  His occupation is listed as a carpenter and he was destined to Vancouver, BC.

Hopefully, this link will get you to the image of the page in the passenger list.
