Hi All,

Thanks very much for all of the replies, I've found them really interesting and helpful, especially the later addresses and information which seem to show that for whatever reason they were living apart in 1911 it was only temporary, I also found that the house Jenny was shown in, in 1911 Brighton was just a short distance from some other Winn relatives, maybe even one of their houses for Jenny and the boys to have a holiday, who knows.

Having searched without luck for another marriage for Frank between 1899 & 1901, I too have come to the conclusion that Harriet and Jenny probably are the same person.

I still find it quite strange the way the 1911 census form for Frank had been filled out, but I guess it will just remain a mystery.

Thanks again,

David.

Hi debee7,
Believe the Frank Winn you are looking for was married  to Jennie, not sure  of spelling, but recall going to visit
as a child, with my grandmother Felicia Mabel at Du Cane Court in Balham, seem to recall they had 2 sons,
one attended my grandmothers funeral in Hove.
The time of our visit to Balham, would have been in late 1940s.
Hope this is of some assistance, Tryin

Living at EO2 Du Cane Court Balham London
This would confirm the findings of one of the previous reserchers ,
However I always remember them being called Frank and Jenny.

Hello Tryin,

Many thanks for your input, it is very helpful, I know that one of the boys had the given name Frank, I wonder if you can remember the other boys name and perhaps what job Frank senior was doing in the 1940s.

Hello David,
Sorry I do not recall Frank Sn sons names, the one who attended the funeral in 1966 took the opportunity
of calling to an address in Davigdor road Hove on business.
After the funeral we went to the home of another relative, May Williams nee Winn.
The house was in Southwick, it may have been Southview rd.
With regards to Frank Seniors occupation, I do not know, as it was so long ago, being a child Jenny's hair style made more of an impression.
Cannot be of more help this time.
Ann
