Does anyone know Abigail?

I have an Abigail Parker who was born in 1669 in Elmswell and was married in Troston in 1698 to Henry Bantock. I can find no actual records for Abigail, and as the 1st child I have for the couple is Mary in 1689 (d 1700) then a long gap till Thomas in 1699, I wonder if these dates are correct.
I'd be grateful for any information.

Hi Liz

I hoped to be able to help you but struggled to find anything conclusive.  I looked for Abigail's baptism  in the Elmswell parish register but she definitely wasn't baptised there in 1669, or around there that I could see.

I looked at the Troston register next and did find the marriage but wasn't sure it actually said Abigail Parker.
The writing was very feint and difficult to make out so maybe at some time someone has seen a clearer copy but it looked to me that a Henry (could've been Bantock) of Woolpit married Abigail (surname clearly looked to start with a B to me) at Elmswell on 14th October 1698.

my own family research shows Abigail had 4 sons and 2 daughters,and son Thomas married Charity _ ,who had 5sons and 2 daughters.  I am looking for Bantocks/Bentincks coming over from Holland.

There is a researcher in New Zealand who has a great collection of Bantocks and variant spellings. Will alert her to this thread.

Bantocks Road in Great Waldingfield, the name has been in the county of Suffolk for a very long time
