You haven't given any details of where he was born, who/when he married, childrens names etc

What census do you have him on?  Where was he living?

Exactly what type of info are you looking for

FreeBMD has the birth of a Charles Adamthwaite in the Dec Qtr of 1855 in the Kensington Reg. District.

There is also the birth of a Charles Frederick Adamthwaite in the June Qtr of 1857 in the same district so possibly related?

There are these marriages.....

Charles Adamthwaite to either Sarah Marks or Caroline Sarah Shore in the Dec Qtr of 1880 in the Kensington Reg. District
Charles Adamthwaite to either Matilda Harriett Dew or Annie Lingley in the Dec Qtr of 1882 in the same district.
Charles Frederick Adamthwaite to either Florence L M Honers or Florence Woodroofe in the June Qtr of 1904 in the Paddington Reg. District.

There is the death of a Charles Adamthwaite in the march Qtr of 1917 in the Kensington Reg. District aged 61 which would make his birth year 1856 which ties in with a birth above.

Just spotted the death of a Charles Frederick Adamthwaite in the Dec Qtr of 1939 in the Willesden Reg. District aged 83 which makes his birth year 1856 which matches the previous info also........

Marriages Dec 1879

Celia Maria Goodge
Celia Maria   Gordge
THWAITE Charles Adam
Kensington    vol 1a page 249

This is how it appears on FreeBMD and the London England marriage banns record also splits his name in to two parts with the Thwaite appearing below the Adam (probably couldn't fit it on the one line)

Maria's father a painter, Charles' father a fishmonger.

One of the ancestry trees follows Celia's line back to the early 1600's and another tree follows Charles' line back to  the early 1700's. Can you access ancestry at your local library?
