Hi lupins

Just to confirm that the MFHS database doesn’t have a transcription of the Tenbury parish baptismal records for the dates that you wanted.

The parish register for St Andrews, Worcester has two entries for the baptism of Thomas Swift the son of Thomas Swift,  a soldier and his wife Elizabeth. The first on 28 March 1813 and the other on 9 May 1813.

Hi Nemo,

Thanks for the the news re Tenbury transcripts and Thomas Swift.

It seems that a copy of the Bishops transcripts for Tenbury is with the London Family History Centre. Temporarily, these records are hosted at the National Archives in Kew. I may well take a trip down there in the near future as there are quite a few things I need to look up as well as the Tenbury records.

I am not sure how the Thomas Swift Worcester baptism might fit in; hopefully, the Kew trip will throw some light on the matter.

Thanks once again for your help.
Regards, Lupins
