cork examiner or Echo Availability ?
« on: Sunday 07 October 12 13:48 BST (UK) »
Hi there:

Does anyone know of any online sources for old Examiner or Echo. I'm looking for copies from 1926.

Thanks

July-Sept 1926 of the Examiner is on the British Newspaper Archive site.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I know that my GG grandfathers (George Hoskins) death notice is in the Cork examiner on the 28 Jan 1898. Does anyone have access to this and could do a look up ?
This edition is not on the british newspaper archive....so any pointers would be welcome!!

I am sure that if you contact the Cork City library they will be able to help you with your search. This has worked for me in the past.
