Thank you all for the lovely restores, I am very grateful.

It is English Wiggy, probably taken in West Ham where they lived at that time. Although my Grandfather's parents were German he was born here and my Grandmother came from Essex.

Thank you very much Maggie, they are lovely.

As bloggy says, what a talented bunch of people you all are. You can change an ordinary, quite drab photo and bring it, and the people, to life.

I know that you all say that you enjoy doing it, but you give a lot of people pleasure - not only those whose photos you restore but also those who just enjoy looking at the before and after photos. Thank you all.

Jan

Thank you for your lovely words, Jan and bloogy.  I enjoy bringing them back to life and I'm sure the others feel exactly the same.

Your little group are delightful, Jan.  Can't you just tell that the photographer has carefully positioned the children's hands on Mum's knee?  The little one in particular is concentrating so hard not to move his hand.  Delightful.

Maggie  :)

PS - Only just realised I've picked almost the same colour scheme as GS - that was coincidence 'cos I've only just noticed now. ::)

I can't tell the difference - unless the bloke has had one extra glass of beer between shoots!

My knee/thigh would be tickling if it were mine the children were touching!   ;D ;D

Kind words indeed Jan and bloogy   :D

A bit of work on the girl's dress and I gave her a pink bow.  I tried to calm dad's complexion down but obviously failed   ;D

Just playing really.
