Can anyone attend? I don't live in Harlestone but a lot of my ancestors did including one who is on the war memorial.

Yes, the invitation is for anyone who has an interest in Harlestone, the war memorial and the fallen soldiers of the village  or family history!

Hi,

Is this book still available ?

I'd love to see it, one of my family is remembered on the memorial at Harlestone.

Hi Sandy,

Thank you for the welcome & for replying to my letter. I've only just found this site, it's superb.
I'm related to the York family of Harlestone - my mums maiden name was York.

I'll try Northampton library this week.

Andy

I have just looked at my (book signed by Maureen) and there are 2 pages on John.

Do you have a picture of his headstone.

Hi Sandy,

Yes i have a picture of all the York graves that i could find at Harlestone. Nearly got hit by a few stray golf balls !

I don't know much about John apart from the obvious. He died of wounds, i think, back in England.

Could you confirm the title of the book please.

Thank you,

Andy
